What’s on offer?
Grants of up to $15,000 are available. This is handled by The Department of Employment, Small Business and Training Business Boost Grant Program.
Applications are open from 30 July 2021. Grants will be available until the allocated pot of money runs out. So it’s well worth moving now to take advantage!
Is this for me?
Eligible businesses should have:
1. Fewer than 20 employees
2. An active ABN and GST registration
3. Headquarters in Queensland
4. Turnover between $300,000 and $600,000 for 2020/21
5. A public online presence (website or social media)
What can the money be used for?
The funding can improve efficiency and productivity in three areas:
1. Future Planning
2. Specialised and automated software
3. Staff management, development and planning
What’s the catch?
There is a co-contribution of 30% of the total project cost. So if you go for the maximum $15,000 grant, you’d also contribute $6,429 towards a total project cost of $21,429.
The project can cost less than that, but not below $10,715. It can also cost more, but $15,000 is the maximum grant amount.
